SpoolTags is designed with your privacy as a priority.

Data storage

All your spool data is stored locally on your device and synced via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your data, and it is not stored on any servers we control.

Data collected

SpoolTags does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

Camera and NFC

The app requests camera access solely for scanning QR codes. NFC access (iOS only) is used solely for reading spool identification tags. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

iCloud sync

If you have iCloud enabled, your spool data syncs across your devices via Apple's iCloud service. This sync is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

In-app purchases

Purchase information is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Children's privacy

SpoolTags does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL.
